Beta Gamma Executive Board

Letter from the President

Picture
Special.

No other word comes close to describing what the Brothers of Delta Sigma Pi are. I wish I could be more specific, I wish I could narrow it, I wish I could provide a more comprehensive description – but the entirety what this is, of the people, have to be felt to be properly contextualized and my bet is that you’ll walk away feeling the same thing.

The biggest regret of my college experience, without a close second, is that it took me a year of hesitation to join this incredible organization, this fraternity that exemplifies the true meaning of the word. Brotherhood, much to my chagrin, wasn’t just a marketing pitch – it was travelling the world with people who became my best friends, it was immediate acceptance and support, it was a community that has yet to be rivaled in my time on this campus. It’s 80 people who have your back at the slighted nudge, ready and able to support you through any and every trial. It’s the group of people that make this place home.

Delta Sigma Pi has pushed me further than I’ve ever been pushed before – and somehow finds a way to raise the bar every time. Here at USC, it was my Brothers who would give that last push on every project and assignment during the school yeah; this summer, it was my Brothers who helped me treat every day at my internship as if it was my last, providing the fuel and motivation necessary. In all honesty, it was my Brothers who were the ones who got me to New York in the first place, giving countless hours to help some newly initiated sophomore chase his dream. That’s what this is – it’s a group that constantly wants you to be better, because three years ago, their Brothers did it for them.

It has been an absolute honor to have been given the opportunity to lead this special group of people, one that I know will – like everything else with Delta Sigma Pi – work to make me not only a better professional, but a better person. Because that’s what this is – it’s special. We’re a group of people who want nothing more than to invest in you, so that someday you’ll do the same. I wish I could distill this into a culture or a tradition, but the truth is – this is who we are, and we can’t wait to see who comes next.

If this sounds like something you want to be a part of, or want to explore further, check out our website or our socials. Even better, reach out – let’s find some time before September 4th to talk about what makes this group what it is. We’re looking for you – come join us from September 4th to September 7th and find out what we are – more importantly, find out who we are, and see if it’s right for you. Trust me – it’s worth it.
