Meet the Team
Spring 2025 Recruitment Committee
Taylor HavensHello! My name is Taylor Havens and I am a Marketing student here at Darla Moore. I joined DSP in the fall of 2021, my freshman year, and it is the best decision I have ever made. Not only has this organization made a supportive and amazing community for me within a huge school, but it has taken my professional skills and personal success to levels I never thought possible. I am so beyond thankful to this organization for the friends, experiences, and growth it has given me over the past three and a half years and I hope you can see how special it is over this recruitment week. The more you put into recruitment week the more you will get out of it, so put yourself out there, meet new people, and enjoy every second!

Ashley RitzHi! My name is Ashley Ritz, I’m from Fairfax, Virginia, and I’m studying Risk Management and Insurance. When I first considered rushing a business fraternity, I was primarily looking for professional development and a way to add purpose to my college experience. After feeling unfulfilled during my freshman year, I was eager to find opportunities that would contribute meaningfully to my growth. Delta Sigma Pi has provided exactly that and has been transformative in ways far beyond professionalism. It introduced me to a brotherhood of individuals whose qualities I deeply admire and aspire to exemplify, fueling my personal development. If you’re wondering what value DSP could add to your college experience, I encourage you to attend recruitment and discover it for yourself!

Jay PatelHey guys! My name is Jay Patel, and I am a brother of Delta Sigma Pi here at the University of South Carolina. I’m majoring in Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain, with a minor in Mass Communications and a concentration in Data Analytics. When I arrived on campus, I was determined to find a community where I could create meaningful, lifelong connections while growing personally and professionally. Joining Delta Sigma Pi has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my college journey. It has not only given me lifelong friendships but also helped me explore future career opportunities and develop a strong professional foundation. I’ve been inspired to join other impactful organizations on campus, such as the Darla Moore School Ambassador Program and the Gamecock Consulting Club. These opportunities have allowed me to hone my leadership, networking, and teamwork skills while representing the values I hold close to my heart: service, professionalism, and brotherhood. Outside of school and career-focused activities, I’m passionate about golf, house music, and finding ways to make a positive impact in every community I’m part of. I look forward to continuing to grow, give back, and make the most of my time here at USC!

Jay LuskHello, my name is Jay Lusk, and I am a sophomore studying Management-Entrepreneurship and Marketing at the University of South Carolina. I went to a small school in Greenville, where the close-knit community made everything feel familiar and comfortable, so the transition to college was challenging. Coming from a smaller environment, I struggled to find my place at USC and connect with others on a deeper level. While my love for sports and music helped me feel grounded, I still felt like something was missing. That all changed when I discovered DSP. Joining DSP has been a turning point in my college experience, providing me with a community where I truly belong. It’s given me a sense of purpose and helped me realize the importance of personal growth and building meaningful connections. DSP has pushed me to step outside my comfort zone, embrace new opportunities, and understand that success is not just about personal achievement, but about the impact we have on others. If you're thinking about recruitment, I promise you won't regret it. DSP offers a unique chance to connect with driven individuals, grow personally and professionally, and be part of a brotherhood that will support you throughout your college journey.
