Jay Patel | Senior Vice President

My name is Jay Patel, and I'm honored to serve as Senior Vice President for the Beta Gamma Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi.
I came into USC as an in-state student, and honestly, I knew from day one I wanted to branch out, meet people I might never have crossed paths with otherwise, and actually make the most of college. Joining DSP gave me that, and it ended up being one of the best decisions I've made here.

DSP pushed me to grow, professionally and personally. The people in this Brotherhood helped me land internships, get involved in other organizations across campus, and just feel more comfortable putting myself out there. DSP opened doors for me, but honestly, the bigger thing it gave me was the confidence to actually walk through them.

What I value most, though, goes beyond internships or interview prep. DSP taught me how much intentionality matters and how far you can get just by being yourself. The best connections happen when you're genuinely you and willing to actually invest in the people around you.

That's what makes Beta Gamma special. Everyone walks in with a different story and different goals, but DSP gives you room to figure out what you want college to look like, surrounded by people who actually want to see you win.

As recruitment kicks off this semester, we're excited to meet everyone and show you the Brotherhood that's meant so much to us. Come as yourself, talk to people you normally wouldn't, and take a chance on something new. You never know where one conversation could take you.
